How to Choose a Suitable Transformer
Low voltage lighting systems require the use of a transformer to reduce the standard 120 volt power from ordinary household electricity to 12,13,14,and 15 volt needed to power low voltage fixtures.
The total wattage of all fixtures connected to one transformer must not exceed the wattage capacity of the transformer.
To determine the size of transformer needed in a low voltage lighting system, add up the wattage of all fixtures in system and then add 10% for low voltage cable and fixtures connections.
If the total load offixtures is too greateither divide the total load between 2 transformers or use a more powerful transformer.
Select a transformer with 20% higher capacity than total wattage of all fixtures in system, that allow you to add more fixtures later.

The quality is excellent, and they appear very durable. I bought them because they have the "telescope" lens that allows me to narrow down my targeted light area. They do not explain how you add multiple lights to one low-voltage line; they only demonstrate how to install the first light at the end of the line, which is obviously easy. These lights are not as easy to add multiple lights as others, but fortunately, I only had two lights, so I could run two separate lines to each light from my transmitter.
Update: the seller did reach out and has sent new bulbs to replace the defective ones. Great customer service! Half the bulbs went out in two weeks in 4 of the 8 lights. I’m now trying to shop for proper replacement bulbs. Hoping this was just a bad batch of bulbs as the other 4 lights are still working. Can not find replacement bulbs on the Mallory store or any way to contact the seller.
I recently installed these as part of a landscape lighting project, and they were easy to install, surprisingly bright, and produce very warm light. I highly recommend them.
These have been in my yard for few months and I am very happy with them even on the low setting there is plenty of light to illuminate the area.
